To confirm a booking, a non refundable deposit (£50.00 for Glamping accommodations / £100.00 for caravan accommodation) is required along with returning a completed booking form.

For Caravan accommodation bookings a security deposit of £100.00 is required on all bookings, this will be returned within 14 of departure, providing the accommodation has been left in a clean condition & there has been no damage caused.

For Glamping bookings a security deposit of £50.00 is required on all bookings, this will be returned within 14 of departure, providing the accommodation has been left in a clean condition & there has been no damage caused.

PLEASE NOTE : All cheques to be made payable to Ann Buchanan.  Payment can also be made by bank transfer, please email for details.

Booking Terms and Conditions

Version 9 – 03 July  2019

By making a confirmed booking you are accepting these terms and conditions.
Black Beck Farm is pleased to offer caravan and lodge bookings under the following terms and conditions:

Deposit
Yew Barrow View / Hill Top / Bigland Vierw : A non refundable deposit of £100.00 is required at time of booking. We must receive this, along with your completed booking form, within 7 days of reservation; otherwise the caravan may be re-let, and your booking not confirmed.

Bow Top / Shepherds Hut / Glamping Lodges : A non refundable deposit of £50.00 is required at time of booking. We must receive this, along with your completed booking form, within 7 days of reservation; otherwise the accommodations may be re-let, and your booking not confirmed.

All deposits are non refundable – once a deposit is paid they will not be refunded, even if you choose to cancel your booking in any of our accommodations for any reason (including weather).

Balance 
The remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival.  Please be advised that we do not accept payments by debit or credit cards; cash or cheque only. Keys to all accommodations will not be made available until all monies are paid.

Security Deposits

For Glamping bookings a security deposit of £50.00 is required on all bookings, this will be returned within 14 of departure, providing the accommodation has been left in a clean condition & there has been no damage caused.

All security deposits are payable with your balance and will be returned, by cheque, to the lead name on the booking form.

Letting Arrangements
Your accommodation will be ready for you from 4.30pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise stated.  If you are arriving after 7pm please advise us in advance.  Upon arrival please bring your confirmation letter to the farmhouse to enable collection of keys.  All utilities are included in the price (Yew Barrow, Hill Top and Bigland View only).  (If you have hired linen, this will be left in the caravan ready for arrival).

Departure
You must vacate your accommodation by 10.30am on the day of departure.  Please return the keys to the farmhouse, any lost keys will be charged at £10.00 per key.

Accommodation
The person named on the booking form is responsible for all breakages or damage caused during your stay.  Please report any as soon as possible to the farmhouse.  Please check the inventory of your accommodation when you arrive.  Should you find any faults or have any complaints during your stay, please also report these immediately.  Any major damage will incur charges (such as furniture, electrical equipment, structural damage and damages caused by pets - including patio areas).

All accommodations are non-smoking. Smoking in hired accommodations is NOT PERMITTED by law.

Parking
Please park all vehicles on the gravelled area.  And do not park directly in front of the caravan, as this will affect the satellite television signal.

Behaviour
The respect of others on the site (and local residents) is of most importance.  There must be no loud music or noise after 10.30pm.  If, in the opinion of ourselves, any member of the party is causing a disturbance (at any time of the day), the entire party may be asked to leave immediately.  No refunds will be given in the event of being asked to leave.

Liability
We cannot be held responsible for any personal loss, damage or injury suffered by you or any member of your party.

Cancellation by you
If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us as soon as possible. There will be no refund of any deposits paid.  If cancellation is within 4 weeks of arrival no refund of remaining paid balances will be made.

Cancellation by us
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your stay, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid.

Pets
Pets are allowed in Yew barrow View Caravan, Hill Top caravan, Bow Top, Bigland View, Shepherds Hut and our Glamping Lodges, but under no circumstances must pets be left alone in any of our accommodations.  Any damages caused by pets will incur charges.

Please be advised if any of the above terms and conditions are breached by you or a member of your party, you may be asked to leave any of our accommodations immediately.   In such circumstances you will not be offered any refunds.

Being a family site, we only accept bookings from family groups.  We cannot accept bookings from young singles or all male / all female parties.
