We hope you find all the information you require for our caravans Yew Barrow View, Bigland View, Hill Top, Bow Top and our Glamping Lodges - if not simply contact us.  Open from March to November, our holiday caravans are situated on a small family run farm in the quiet village of Bouth, just south of Grizedale Forest in the heart Lake District.  The village of Bouth is situated in the Lake District, the largest of England’s National Parks.  Nestled between Lake Windermere and Coniston Water and surrounded by fields, fells and woodland Bouth offers peace and tranquillity.  Just take a look at some of our stunning wildlife and scenery photographs - views you could enjoy during your stays with us! 

New for 2025 is Cringlemire Farm Cottage... A Newly Renovated 16th Century Gem.  Tucked away on the edge of the charming village of Bouth, Cringlemire Farm Cottage offers the perfect combination of historic appeal and contemporary comfort. Surrounded by its own private grounds, this beautifully restored 16th-century cottage serves as a peaceful retreat, ideal for unwinding after a day spent discovering the stunning landscapes of the Lake District.  Accommodating up to four guests, the cottage maintains many of its original features, seamlessly blending them with modern amenities to enhance your stay. **** Guests are encouraged to follow directions straight to their pitch and avoid going into the farmyard or farmhouse. ****

Combine this with some of the best Lake District attractions, popular market towns, and quaint Lakeland villages; Bouth is an ideal holiday location for all the family, young and old.  Why not read a brief history of the village of Bouth, or visit the Old Hall Farm website, a historic working farm only 5 minutes walk from us.

Within easy walking distance (1/4 mile - 5 Mins) is the White Hart Inn, the centre of village life serving excellent Bar and Restaurant meals and some of the finest Real Ales in the County.  

Why not enjoy a summers evening drink on the Village Green and Play Area, in front of the White Hart Inn. The market town of Ulverston is only 5 miles away – featuring bars, restaurants, takes aways, cinema and supermarkets.  Larger towns such as Barrow In Furness, Kendal and Lancaster are also with in easy reach.

Cringlemire Farm Cottage

Ideal for up to four guests, our cottage retains many of its original features while incorporating modern touches to enhance your stay. As you step into the spacious open-plan lounge and dining area, you’ll be greeted by the traditional blue flag stone floor, underfloor heating, and a cozy wood-burning stove, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere, even on the coldest winter nights.

Yewbarrow View Holiday Caravan

Comfortably sleeping up to 6 people, Yew Barrow View Holiday Caravan offers panoramic views of Coniston, Fairfield, Yew Barrow and is only a stone throw away from the world famous Lake District Fells, and scenic delights such as lake Windermere, Coniston Water, Ullswater and many more breathtaking surroundings.  Yewbarrow View holiday caravan now as an enclosed patio area - ideal for when pets stay!

Hill Top Caravan

"Hill Top" is a 6 Berth caravan, with en-suite, double bedroom & twin bedroom, double glazed and full central heating. With all the usual comforts of Yewbarrow View and Bigland View

Hill Top has a gated patio/decking area around the caravan and is Pet Friendly!

Bigland View Holiday Caravan

Located close to the ever popular Yew Barrow View Holiday Caravan, we have a NEW 6 berth Biglalnd View caravan with decking area.

Glamping Lodges

Our bespoke Glamping Lodges, Red Deer and Roe Deer, sleep up to five people most comfortably and are Pet Friendly, complete with a fabulous inside Barbecue.  Now featuring... Electric lights, electric sockets and USB points.

Bow Top - Glamping

Come and stay with us and experience a different way of camping - in our 1960's Bow Top .  Sited in it's own area of our camp-site, you will find our Bow Top offer's you peace and tranquillity, and you can enjoy its decking area offering stunning views of open countryside.

Shepherds Hut  - Glamping

Our two glamping shepherds hut, Yan and Tan, sleeps 2 adults and offers a wood burner, beds, table and chairs.

Camping and Touring Pitches

Black Beck Farm also has tent and touring pitches available on our farm camp site, also featuring stunning views.  Toilet and shower facilities are also available.

We now have electric hook ups n hard standing for touring caravan’s and motor homes.  Available to hire from 12 noon for 24 hours £25.00 per pitch.  To guarantee a pitch with an electric hook up, booking in advance is advisable.  Payment at the time of booking is required.  Please note, bookings for electric pitches require a minimum 3 night stays over bank holiday weekends.
